Another new card player was welcomed to the club in Yvonne Campbell from Koondrook; a tad shy, but can play. We now have 21 players in our group. Many thanks to The Bridge, which did a great story on the 500 club.
19 players turned up to our friendly crew, with Sally Gray winning the ladies with a score of 2,920, and the mens was won by our popular player in Kevin Dove with a score of 2,820, getting over the line by 30.
A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned about that game of snakes and ladders. Well, that snake is getting bigger as it feasted on Michael McGann, who did not get in credit till the 21st hand and Jim Bond also contributed, going 15 hands before going into credit. Jim made it eight times, but the snake got him six times.
Laurel Stacey won her first lucky door and newcomer Yvonne and Joyce had the same mystery number, and the mens went to Laurel Stacey. The best call of the night was 8 hearts (300) by Cheryl and Tiger Des.
