Cohuna Cards - November 20, 2025

16 players came to play cards which was great as the 3 hander was having a rest. Scores were up over the night and the best bid was 8 hearts by the 2 excellent card players in Gwen Campbell and Jim Bond. Anything could happen when those 2  team up, its like a roller coaster.  The ladies was won by Gwen Campbell with a Score of 3420, closely followed by Sheila Joss  300 behind.  Tiger Des won the mens with a Score of 2890,  scoring 530 over the last 4 hands. Thanks to his partner in Lorna Johnson.

 The lucky door went to Jim Bond again, but next will be different? The mystery number was a low number with husband and wife in Betty and Brian McLoughlan, and another player had the same number also went to Jim Bond who was miles in front but fell on his sword later on. Doug Billman woke that big snake up going Down by 280. Jackpot is still climbing. The club made a presentation to Sheila for the Progress Association, which was greatly received, bye for now.
