Another good roll up with 17 players doing battle to win the big money. Scores were down with the 3-hander being played. It was one of those nights when two players took home the prizes. Firstly, it was Sally Gray with a score of 2,570, closely followed by Laurel just 10 behind. Also, Iris another 20 behind. The mens was won by Des Shelley of 3,090, but the last deal of the night, Cheryl Dove got 8 diamonds (280) to get Des over the line, but Kevin Dove was leading with one hand to play, but lost 200 and Des got up.
Now for the lucky door. John Walters drew the number out and guess what, Des also won that. So, John drew the mystery number, which was a high number of 3,000, and Sally and Des were the closest, so Sally picks up two prizes and Des three.
8 hearts was the best call of the night (300). Some players had a bad night with three players not reaching the 1,000. Jackpot next week is $8.
