Well, we started with 7 players and Trevor Johnson (who brings his mother Lorna in her 90s) was just sitting with his computer so we asked him if he can play cards. Trevor said, “a little bit of Canasta, that’s all.” “You will do,” we said, and with a bit of coaching, Trevor won the Mens with a score of 2710 - much to the disgust of his mother Lorna! Well done, Trev.

Jim Bond played this week as a female, winning the Ladies with a score of 3100. The Lucky Door prize went to Doug Billman, and the Mystery Number was awarded to Lorna Johnson and that old Geelong player - Barry Stacey. The best call of the night was Jim Bond and Trevor Johnson going 9 no trumps (420), and 8 hearts (300) got The Snake his dinner.

We have a couple on the sick list and Sheila Joss going to China. Hurry back as we need someone to do the dishes!
