On a very cold night we had 14 players turn up in a nice, cosy room to play cards. After a bad run of outs, Gwen Campbell again greeted the judge to win the ladies with a score of 3,580. Also on a roll was Doug Billman with a score of 3,850, scoring heavily on four hands over 800 and then going 9 diamonds (380) in another hand.
The lucky door again went to John Walters. Our mystery number of 1,810 was won by Sally Gray and last week’s winner in Barry Stacey. Jackpot goes to $14 next week.
Another 6-week aggregate has finished with Gwen Campbell scoring 15,440, and the men’s was Doug Billman, winning by the odd 3,000 and a good score of 18,910.
