14 players again turned up to play cards. Gwen Campbell again setting the pace with another big win, with a score of 3,820 (might have to impose a handicap on Gwen). The mens was won by the hard-working John Walters, who helps out in the kitchen with our other card players who pitch in to keep the room clean. John’s score was 3,520.
The lucky door went to Betty McLoughlan, who seems to win this nearly every second week. You are only as good for one week. Doug Billman last week had a huge score, but came back to Earth winning the mystery number of 1,760. Likewise, Sally Gray won the ladies mystery number. The jackpot climbs to $16. See ya next week, but Barney and myself are going down to coach the Tigers.
