On a cold night, 11 players turned up. It was 12, but our president had to go home and then our party pies donor was sick. What – only biscuits for supper! But we got through, ay.
Our ladies’ was Gwen Campbell, who greeted the judge with a score of 3,310, making it four weeks in a row that Gwen has won. Not to be outdone, John Walters also has won four weeks in a row with a score of 3,000. Well done to the pair of card players who achieved this as I think it’s the first time this has happened.
The lucky door went to Mavis Prout and the mystery was won by Alma Gray (sister to Sally) and Annette Campbell. The jackpot has reached $22.
