12 players turned up to play cards. With an even number, scores were up. Sally Gray showed the opposition no mercy, winning with a score of 3,290. 4 hands with Des scored 700 to set up for a win. John Walters was in front all night but Des scoring 800 in the last 4 hands, likewise, John scored nearly 500 to get up about 300 in front of other players, with a score of 3,510.
The lucky door goes to Iris Howard and the mystery number went to our president, Laurel Stacey, and the party pies chap in Jim Bond, the mens. Brian McLoughlan has caught the Tiger Flu and he is being cared for by our local hospital.
The best call of the night was 8 Hearts (300), but Michael McGann went 9 spades, only to lose on the last card, so, down the ladder he went to the tune of 340.
