The ladies’ was won by Gwen Campbell with a score of 3,020, and 50 behind was the popular Sheila Joss, who gets the men into doing the dishes after cards. John Walters continues his good form, winning for three weeks in a row, well, the rest of us have to pick up our game if you want to have a win at cards.
Sally Gray won the lucky door and the mystery number was 2,240 and Laurel Stacey and Jim Bond. The best call of the night was 8 hearts (300). The jackpot is still going and next week is $18.
Next week is Sheila Joss’s birthday. I think it’s her 21st birthday, now, I could be wrong with her age, but she looks that age, ay Sheila.
Last month, we donated money to the cancer, fire brigade and the hospital auxiliary, each receiving $200.
