We had 16 players turn up to play cards, which is great. The club welcomed back Iris Howard, whose birthday is on Friday. I think Iris is about 45 years old? The club has decided to have a 6-week aggregate starting tonight.
Sally Gray still holds good cards, winning the ladies with a score of 3,420, closely followed by Gwen on 3,260. Des Shelley had a good score of 3,530 to win the mens. Four deals scoring 660 to set up a good score. You have those nights, next week probably the lowest.
The lucky door went to Joyce Hull. The mystery number of 2,190 went to Mavis Prout and Barry Stacey got the mystery number. The best call of the night was 8 no trumps by Jim Bond and Cheryl Dove. The jackpot next week is $30.
