Cohuna Cards - February 26, 2026

10 Players turned up to play, which seems that’s all we are going to get for now but we still enjoy playing cards and the supper afterwards .

The ladies: after a couple of weeks of just getting average scores Gwen Campbell won the ladies with score of 3060.

The mens: Doug Billman just hung on  from Sheila Joss just a mere 20 behind. Doug scored 3870, making it 3 weeks in a row. The lucky door went to Sheila Joss and the mystery number to Lorna Johnson and while Dangerfield (alias Barry Stacey) got the chocolates.

The best bid of the night was Joyce Hull and Tiger Des with a call of 8 no trumps (320). Welcome back to Lorna and Barry and Laurel who was on the sick list. It’s great now that Laurel is back as we have new biscuits in the jar!
