Numbers down again and the 3 hander came into play with scores down by all concerned. However, we will continue on. Maybe when this hot weather goes, and the air conditioner gets turned off, we will get more to play. Betty McLoughlan won the ladies with a score of 2320. Whilst Doug Billman won again with a good score of 3520. Joyce Hull won the lucky door and the mystery number went to Sheila Joss and Brian McLoughlan. Funny about that, as Sheila and Barney woke the big snake of 280, going down the slide, mainly Barney’s fault?

The Jackpot is going. One thing about low numbers, we are home early. Some say we should stop playing. Well, I got news for you. It won’t happen, not while I am secretary, unless we have a spill. Now, where did I get that saying? This club has been going for over 70 years, and yes, we are getting older. Maybe if we just turn our mobiles off for just 3 hours and come to cards.  Otherwise no more cards.
