Cohuna Cards - February 12, 2026

8 players turned up to play cards. Yes, it’s not great, but we will continue until no one turns up. This hot weather does not help with the elderly, and also me when I am doing the pre season with Richmond. Those lovely ladies was won by Lyn Noonman, I believe it’s her first win. Well done. Lyn’s score of 3400 got home by 200. Doug Billman had another good night with a score of 3650 to win from John Walters. The lucky door went to Mavis Prout, also taking home the mystery prize. Sheila Joss won the mens. Now, the good news, Iris Howard is back in Cohuna Hospital, so look out, nurses, Iris is ready to give you orders, just to get back to cards. The other good news is Nancy Henderson will be having a Birthday, just a lazy 100 this week! Nancy was an excellent card player some years ago and the club wishes Nancy all the best on that day.
