Cohuna Cards - December 4, 2025

12 players turned up to play cards on a very windy day  but rain, hail or shine it does not stop  these card players. Scores were up overall with the 12 Players reaching the 2000 mark and the winners going into the 3000 mark. Gwen Campbell won the ladies with a score of 3620, with  Mavis Prout coming in second. Doug Billman also had a great score to win the mens, 3600,  the rest of the men’s in the 2000s.  The lucky door went to Lorna Johnson and the mystery number of 1960 went to Iris Howard and John Walters. 

  Special thanks to John Walters, who helped out with the bookkeeping job whilst Tiger Des was away doing preseason with Richmond. 

Card players TAKE NOTE if you go to the surgery on the door it states ‘If you are unwell do not enter’, well this also goes to the card players.  Also Jim Bond and Lorna Johnson woke the snake up to a tune of 300 in one deal, also Sheila Joss had a bad night at cards.
