16 players turned up and we welcomed two new players in Paul and Debbie McNeice. After seeing how the cards play with the help from other card players, they soon felt quite at home. Hopefully, they will come back.
Young Sally Gray had good cards all night to easily win the ladies with a score of 3,220. The mens was a close encounter with Jim Bond getting over the line with a score of 2,940, with Michael McGann just 100 behind. It was Michael’s birthday also (81).
The lucky door prize went to Gwen Campbell and the mystery number, which was a low number 1,580, was awarded to Sheila Joss and the old tiger in Brian McLoughlan.
