Scores were down over the night, averaging around the 2,300 mark. Sally Gray just got over the line with a score of 2,470 to win the ladies, closely followed by the popular Sheila Joss just 30 behind.
The mens had three players. With four deals to go, anyone could have won it. The first to fall was Tiger Des, scoring only 120. Jim Bond came out of the clouds with a score of 600 in the last four deals, but Doug Billman, scoring 300 in the last four, got over the line by 10, and the score was 2,340.
The lucky door went to Sally Gray, who picked number 8 – and this is three times in a row that 8 has been the lucky number. The mystery number of 1,980 was won by Iris Howard and Barry Stacey.
Jackpot is getting to the $30 mark. The best score of the night was 8 hearts (300). We woke that big snake up with Michael McGann feeding him to the tune of 650, so hopefully, he can go back to sleep.
