What a night we had with 15 players turning up. Firstly, the jackpot went off with Gwen Campbell and Doug Billman going 10 clubs, and would you believe it, they picked up three clubs in the kitty? The 3-hander players cut to see who was dealing first. The men both drew an ace, then Sally also drew an ace – what odds would that be?
Gwen Campbell took out the ladies with a good score of 3,650. Doug Billman also had a good score with 3,720 and the smoking lady, Sue Sheen, got the lucky door. The mystery number went to Mavis Prout and again, Sue Sheen.
It was the last night of the aggregate, with Kevin Dove leading by 1,000, but had a bad night, only scoring 1,760. That opened the door with Doug Billman scoring a big score to get home and win. Cheryl Dove, with consistent scores over the six weeks, won the ladies.
