Cohuna Bowls - November 9, 2023

Last Tuesday’s Social Bowls was played in perfect sunny conditions once again. Thirty players turned up, the winners being Mary Meredith, Kay Currie and Rob Wilson. This trio showed their best smiles for the winner’s photo, well done to everyone.

The following day, Midweek Pennant was played with results as follows:

Div. 1 Cohuna 1 defeated Barham 1 in all three rinks by a margin of 40 shots. Div. 1 Cohuna 2 went down to Pyramid Hill by 11 shots, winning two out of the three rinks, but not by a big enough margin. Div. 2 Cohuna 3 defeated Kerang 2 in closely fought games, getting up by 6 shots.

Thanks to Bev Berry for the following results for Saturday Pennant: Div. 1 Barham 1 8/76 defeated Cohuna 1 4/72. In Div. 2, Cohuna 2 won all three rinks fairly convincingly, scoring 12/95 to Cohuna Golf 3 0/52. Div. 3 saw the two Cohuna teams playing each other. Results were Cohuna 3 10/82 to Cohuna 4 2/65.
