Murrabit Group School’s Leah Simmonds – Girl Champion for the Day.

It was a cooler than expected day for the cluster swimming sports for 2021, with participants from Koondrook, Leitchville, Gunbower and Murrabit respectively, doing their schools proud.

In between freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke and relay, kids were huddled under their towels as they waited for the next race, some reluctant to get back into the water but adapted to the temperature once they were in!

Although Koondrook Primary put in a stellar effort, along with Gunbower and Leitchville, it was Murrabit Group School who came out in front at the end of the day. 

Principals from all four schools were exceptionally proud of the effort and performance as well as sportsmanship displayed by all students.
