The Mathesons have returned at last in good health and played tonight. We had another great turn up to play on two mats. Christine won a meat tray.
We started with eight ends. Heather, Christine, Maggie and Dolly on Mat One against Margaret, Val R and Jim O.
Second mat saw Maurie, Kath, Martha, Rod, Barb and Darby fight it out with Rod, Maurie and Martha winning their game. A playoff followed on mat two between Heather, Christine, Dolly and Maggie, and Kath, Barb and Darby.
The kitty was removed somewhere along the line.
Ronnie had a bowl in there at one stage. Bit hard to write and bowl at the same time.
Team three got the winnings – Rod, Martha and Maurie.
Lucky ticket was Martha.
