The roadside on the Koondrook Road is clear of unsightly rubbish after Clean Up Australia Day was held recently.
A team of eight Cohuna Masonic Lodge members tackled the roadside rubbish just out of Cohuna on Sunday, March 5, joining over 750,000 others across Australia. The team filled two trailers with rubbish – all dropped since they cleaned up the same section of road 12 months ago.
The members participate annually in Clean Up Australia Day as part of the community service provided by the organisation, however, anyone is welcome to join them in their effort to keep the area looking pristine.
