Celebrations Postponed

The open day and torchlight procession to celebrate the centenary of the Cohuna Fire Brigade has been postponed. The event had been scheduled for October 29.

A statement from the brigade said, “Due to the flooding in nearby towns, and the unpredictable weather conditions expected this week, we have made the decision to postpone our open day and torch light parade. We appreciate your support on this, and the support you have shown the brigade over the past few days. Stay safe.”

The members of the brigade have been assisting in flood preparations in Echuca and around the district to ensure that our community remains safe.
