NSW Tourism Industry Council has announced the finalists for the 2023 NSW Top Tourism Town Awards, with 32 towns from across the state vying for the prestigious accolade. Murray River Council has three towns in the running and they need your vote!
- Top Tourism Town with populations over 5,000 residents - Moama, The Murray
- Small Tourism Town with fewer than 5,000 residents - Barham, The Murray
- Tiny Towns with a population fewer than 1,500 residents - Mathoura, The Murray
You can cast your vote, with voting open until 5pm Friday, May 12. The winners will be announced at the Local Government NSW Destination & Visitor Economy Conference, on May 30. Winners in each category will go on to represent NSW at Australia’s Top Tourism Town Awards to be held later in the year.
