A Grade

Barham/Koondrook v Cohuna

A Grade took on Cohuna in a big game for the team in which they had their first win of the year by 123 runs.

Batting first BK had contributors all the way through with Chameera Akurugoda getting 44, Blake Watts a quick fire 32 and Tim Millard a well-made 28 at the top of the order. The boys found their way to 6/185 putting them in a great position.

With wickets falling regularly BK kept Cohuna to 62 with some great bowling with Mac Scoullar leading the way with four wickets while Tom Guerra and Blake Watts both got two scalps.

B Grade

Barham/Koondrook v Leitchville/Gunbower

B Grade came up against Leitchville/Gunbower in a big game going down 21 runs in a terrific game of cricket.

BK batted first and had some great innings led by Tharindu Uyanage in his first game for the club with 47, Cody Storm played a fantastic knock of 37 and grand man of cricket, Steve Farrant, controlled the latter order with 35 not out. This took the innings to 6/165 and a good show of the win.

LG were in trouble early with BK on top but then a partnership of 127 took LG to victory, eventually getting to 5/186.
