This Saturday from 9am till 12pm the Community Market will again take place in the grounds of St John’s Church. Not only will the usual stalls be available but inside the hall there will be Devonshire tea for visitors to enjoy. We also intend to have a display of artwork for sale. Come along, grab a bargain or a sausage, scone and cuppa and support the traders. The Anglican ladies have a cake stall, which is always very popular.

Following the market there will be card games in the hall, so if playing the card game 500 appeals to you, come along for an enjoyable afternoon; lots of laughter guaranteed. Cards will again take place at the hall on Saturday, June 22. We are hoping to have the card afternoons on a regular basis first and third Saturdays. We only need your attendance to make this become a regular event.

Don’t forget Sunday, June 30 the Fifth Sunday Combined Service will be held at the Catholic Church. Please come along and support Fr Stan and enjoy the Catholic hospitality.

If you or a loved one need or would like a pastoral care visit, somebody to pray with you or somebody to chat with confidentially, please see our People’s Wardens, Margaret or June, or contact Marion.
