Cohuna Recreation Reserve came to life on Saturday when the Cohuna Nondies B Grade cricketers faced Elmore for Round 11 of the B Grade Bill Williams Shield.
Elmore won the toss and elected to bat, making 123 runs. Peter Taylor, captain and wicketkeeper, caught three behind the stumps. Sukhwinder Dhinder made one catch. Greg Moorhouse’s bowling captured four wickets, he also had three maidens from his eight overs. Angus Donat had two wickets and one maiden from six overs. Ryder van der Zande had one wicket and two maidens from five overs. Tim Johnson had three wickets and three maidens from his seven overs.

Greg Moorhouse was the opening batsman and the highest scorer for Cohuna Nondies with 39 runs. Sukhwinder Dhinder was the second batter and second-highest scorer with 25 runs with four boundaries (fours). Elmore demolished the batting order after dismissing Dhinder. Cohuna Nondies 82 runs.
Elmore won by 41 runs. Cohuna Nondies are 13th on the Goulburn Murray Cricket B Grade Bill Williams Shield ladder.
