It was at the 150th Anniversary of the Granite Community church (a rural church located between Donald, Birchip, Charlton and Wycheproof) recently that I observed and photographed a “Funnel Cloud” just 1 km from the Granite church building, a rotating cone of cloud water droplets hanging from a thunderstorm base. Thankfully it did not from a tornado as happened in the south eastern part of NSW at Ulladulla on that same day – October 3rd. It caused much damage.
