Anyone for Cricket?

They’re jumpy and they’re sneaky, mysterious and creepy, quick to move and leapy – the cricket family!

I’m not sure if it has just been the shops in town, but it seems many of us were unwilling hosts to a cricket match or 10 this week. No sooner would you flick one out the door with the broom, and five more would be right behind you ready to pounce! Perhaps it was the weather, I have no idea what enticed them. Possibly they were here to audition for Riverdaze as 2023’s answer to Buddy Holly and the Crickets? (Boom, tish!)
