A little heat before the summer races

On Tuesday evening, emergency services were called to a building fire on Park Road at the Kerang Turf Club. The road was blocked by police, allowing the Country Fire Authority (CFA) to work unhindered. 

Thanks to the quick response from the locally skilled CFA, the fire was quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the horse stables. With a big race meeting around the corner for the Kerang Turf Club, it is fortunate that the fire did not spread and cause more damage.
