1300 087 004: your place for MRC after-hours calls

All after-hours emergency calls to Murray River Council should now be directed to the one call centre number: 1300 087 004.

Customers who have an out of hours emergency relating to water and sewer, roads, or compliance, can call the 1300 number where the request can be actioned.

Murray River Council Mayor, Chris Bilkey said this will ensure all enquiries are handled in a centralised location so they can be directed to the right place straight away. 

“It also takes away the hassle of customers needing to look up the appropriate on-call mobile number,” he said. 

“Our aim is to continue to improve the customer experience through greater reliability and availability when customers call - no matter what time of day.” 

Murray River Council’s Business hours remain as 9am to 4pm, Monday -Friday.
