Ryan Bassett made his second appearance in the Coates Talent League Boys for the Bendigo Pioneers. He travelled to the La Trobe University oval, Bundoora for the Round 10 match against Gippsland Power and started on the interchange before being tasked to the back line. 

During the match, he had six disposals (two kicks and four handballs), one tackle, three hit outs and one rebound 50. 

Unfortunately, Gippsland Power won by four points. Out of 18 teams, Bendigo Pioneers are sitting tenth on the ladder.
