Cohuna Tennis Club – February 6, 2021
This week we had Cohuna and Leitchville play out in the seniors whilst the two junior sides played off against each other. Both hit outs had spectators engaged with some great rallies and some spectacular shots. Our development squad and Hotshots tennis kids had their first session on Saturday and this week we will see twilight tennis recommence. Pushing into the back end of the season now and it’s shaping up to be a very competitive season and even competition.
Our committee met during the week and has confirmed we will be having our Easter tournament, stay tuned for more details on our Facebook page.
Hotshots
Hotshots and Development Squad returned on Saturday after the Christmas break. It was great to see some new faces and some big smiles as they enjoyed the games and activities. Well done to Imogen Thiess and Maggie McGlone who both received the Zooper Dooper awards.
Twilight
The post-Christmas twilight comp starts Tuesday, February 9 at 6pm. Please let Mary know if you are interested in playing each week or perhaps would like to fill in. If you are in a team and cannot attend, please let Mary know so another fill-in can be arranged.
