Speaking from experience, relocating to somewhere such as Barham can be quite an eye-opener in many ways. Coming from a city to a country town can present a variety of changes that can take a bit of getting used to; for me one of those changes was learning to trust that the cashier at IGA taking my groceries to the car was being helpful and not trying to steal them! For me, the reason for the move to Barham was to raise our family in the country with a supportive community where we could feel safe.
