National election time here in Nepal. This means an abundance of police and army presence here in Kathmandu and posted throughout the villages. Extra security is in place for the casting and counting of votes. Volleys of shots have been fired, several people have died and quite a few have been injured. There have been threats of violence and the planting of some explosive devices.
