How fascinating it was to observe the near half metre long tongue of a giraffe  reaching out to a green plant leaf near young Joshua, who was watching closely. In a brief moment the long tongue had wrapped itself around the leaf  drawing it back into the giraffe’s mouth for some good nourishment.
