GANNAWARRA

Trailer theft: In the early hours of Monday the 16th of June, offenders forced entry to the yard of a business on the Murray Valley Highway Kerang, using a utility stolen from Cohuna and stolen a green 10 X 6 trailer.  The ute was located on the Loddon Valley about 5km south of Kerang engulfed in fire.  

Burglary: Between June 6 and 10, offenders have attended a property in the Beauchamp area. Offenders appear to have used on site machinery to load shuttles containing chemicals onto the victim’s tray truck. They have stolen a CRF50 motorcycle and Spika gunsafe containing 2 firearms and ammunition.  They have also stolen a fuel trailer and fuel. The stolen truck and fuel trailer were located in the Kerang area on Wednesday the 11th of June.

SWAN HILL

Vehicle theft: Between 4pm Thursday the 12th of June and 9am the following day, a gold coloured Ford Ranger ute was stolen from outside an address in Beveridge Street Swan Hill. It was located in McPherson Street Swan Hill on Saturday June 14.

Burglary: Between Sunday June the 8th and 6.30pm on Tuesday June the 10th, offenders have attended an address in Karinie Street Swan Hill. The offenders have entered a shed on the property and stolen tools including a Makita 3.5inch angle grinder, impact driver, drill and batteries.

DENILIQUIN

Man charged with firearm and drug offences: A man has been charged with firearm and drug offences in the State’s south.

In May 2025, a detective attached to Murray River Police station commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the Deniliquin area.

Following investigations, about 6.55am yesterday (Thursday 12 June 2025), officer attached to Murray River Police District executed a search warrant in Poicitiers Street, Deniliquin.

Police seized cocaine, cannabis, more than $5000 cash, two sets of handcuffs, two gel blaster rifles and ammunition, from a safe within the house.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Deniliquin Police Station.

He was charged with twelve offences – supply prohibited drug >indictable &

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Deniliquin Local Court on 13 August 2025
