One winter’s day I was walking amongst some Australian eucalypts and shrubs when I heard the swish of swiftly moving bird wings close by and then some colourful Rainbow Lorikeets landed on a flowering shrub just a few metres in front of me. The Lorikeets soon began eating the nectar and pollen on the flowers of these plants with great delight - this being their favourite food!
