On a cold night, 10 players turned up to play cards. We all played each other a few times, but cards were the winners. Gwen Campbell picked up 800 in the last 4 deals to come out winners  with a great score of 3750, and Betty McLoughlan with a Score  of 3300, usually wins most nights but not tonight. 

Doug Billman  won the mens with a score of 2930, closely followed by Barry Stacey just 200 behind. The lucky door prize was won by that old Geelong supporter in Barry Stacey and the mystery number was won by Iris Howard, and that old tiger in Brian McLoughlan. Poor Sheila Joss playing with Jim Bond made a mistake that cost them 240 and the rest of the players made fun of Sheila, but it was taken in the right attitude by Sheila and Jim. Hopefully we may have more turned up. Maybe with winter here, we should have a break, but players said to keep going.
