The greens were bustling with laughter and skill as the Barham Bowling Club hosted Hoppers Crossing Bowling Club for a social bowls challenge on Tuesday afternoon, spanning 21 ends. Over 80 bowlers enjoyed the sunny day under cover with Barham narrowly securing the trophy in a tight, well-fought contest. Social bowls awards included Lucky Lead Irene Conner from Hoppers Crossing, Lucky Second Pam Waldon, Lucky Third Mo Keegan, and Lucky Skip Steve McKlin. From Barham Bowls, the winners were Karen Lange, Gordon Young, Leanne Dwingler, and Rhona Ballard. The Hoppers Crossing winners were Peter Glynn, David Kiely, Julie Kiely, and Barry Watson.
