$50,000 FUNDING FOR FURTHER POLLACK REVEGETATION

Western Murray Land Improvement Group (WMLIG) have been successful in its application for $50,000 to undertake 47ha of further revegetation work in the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest (KPF). The Pollack Wetland Biodiversity Enhancement Project (PWBEP) will enhance the floodplain riparian woodland, in particular the Pollack Swamp Flora Reserve. This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment’s Murray-Darling Healthy Rivers Program Small Grants (Round 1). Revegetation work is scheduled to commence next Autumn 2022.
