When you walk into the Kerang Turf Club, the grass is green and soft underfoot, and you can feel the volunteer pride in the air. President of the Kerang Turf Club, Colleen Shay, was enticed to the races by the late Kerang Turf Club Life Member, Noel ‘Kojak’ Connelly. It can be debated whether Colleen was the designated driver or if it was her growing passion that led her to travel the countryside for the gallopers.
